I think one of the hardest things for dancers is opening yourself up to classes and styles you wouldn’t normally consider taking. If there was one thing I could take away from today, it’s that the only way you can grow and become a well rounded dancer is by challenging yourself in aspects that may feel foreign and uncomfortable. There is ALWAYS room for improvement no matter how long you’ve been dancing. We just have to take the risk of becoming that vulnerable, open–minded dancer again.
Thank goodness I have access to endless dance classes and supportive parents who are willing to drive me to far away places just to dance. I love you mama.
And I am really excited for the next weeks in SI8. Go Seniors Adv. B!
