I use sleep to resolve all my problems, moreover “postpone” them. If I’m sad, I sleep. If I’m stressed, I sleep. If I’m bored, I sleep. If I don’t know, I “sleep on it.” I should really shake this habit and learn to deal with my situations… right after I wake up from this nap I’m about to take. AHA.

Hearing this was a reality check. More like a slap in the face. If there’s a cypher going on, it’s my first instinct to not go in. Why? Because I can’t freestyle with confidence. This year it’s my goal to learn the roots every dancer should have begun with. Popping, locking, waacking, vogueing, housing, all that. I’m so jealous of those who can dance so freely....
